The Antenna can generate 100V/m over a ferrite covered ground at 2m distance per the ISO 11451-2 standard.​ The 3158 is a rugged version of the successful 3109 design. The 3158 has larger elements which reduce the VSWR at low frequencies. The rugged construction increases the power handling to 5 kW. It is a great antenna for generating higher fields in the 20 MHz to 120 MHz frequency band.
